Cairngorm Mountain is Scotland's most popular ski resort and its most famous, located 11 miles from Aviemore in the Cairngorms National Park. Over 30km of pisted runs spread across 35 marked trails served by 13 lifts, rising to 1,230 metres above sea level. Home to Scotland's only mountain railway - the UK's highest funicular - which carries visitors to the summit restaurant and 270� panoramic exhibition space. A full snowsports season typically runs December to April, with equipment hire, a ski school and freestyle terrain all on-site.
